Konjac Premium Facial Sponge - Volcanic Scoria

We absolutely love these NEW Konjac Sponges. We've been trialling them with our CONCH Face Wash Bar and it's our FAVOURITE combination for daily cleansing. We've noticed a huge difference in our skin, with it noticeably smoother, clearer, less congested, and generally more healthy / glowing :)

This premium konjac sponge contains Scoria which is just perfect for deeply cleansing and rejuvenating tired skin; especially problematic oily tired skin.

The volcanic region of Jeju island in South Korea produces the most amazing mineral-rich, naturally antibacterial volcanic scoria. This rock is created from the magma ejected by the volcano, during its eruption. The health benefits of the scoria have long since been utilised by humans, due to the rocks ability to absorb oil and impurities. Packed with this kind yet dirt absorbing goodness.

Scoria has the lightness and absorption qualities of clay, but has the benefits of being antibacterial and oil absorbing too. Scoria is silica rich too, and silica is said to benefit the strength and health of skin :)

How It Works

The texture of the konjac sponge is pillow-soft once hydrated in water, and totally safe to use around eyes to remove daily grime and water-based make-up. Hydrate in warm water and squeeze excess water out. Taking the sphere side, gently massage the sponge over skin and polish your skin in small, circular motions for as little or long as you like.

The konjac sponge can be used on its own, or with the cleanser of your choice. If you use a cleanser, use less than normal, as the sponge helps the cleanser to work harder and go further. We love using this with our CONCH Face Wash Bar for creamy, gentle, cleansing bubbles.

Focus on problem areas, and use twice daily for the best effects. After use, squeeze the sponge out and hang to dry. Squeeze as opposed to twisting, as this can damage the sponge. The better care you give the sponge the longer it lasts, which can be up to 3 months. After then, you can pop it in your compost bin :)

This konjac sponge is approximately 8cm wide, and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand for easy cleansing. Just add water for the ultimate natural skincare exfoliation. It's incredibly soft and gentle, but provides a surprising amount of delicate exfoliation and a deep cleanse. 

The packaging is made from eco-friendly FSC certified paper with a window made from cellulose acetate (so it's completely biodegradable).
